Metal roofing material comes in several types of material including aluminum, Galvalume Steel, Galvanized Steel and other more exotic materials like zonc, stainless steel, terne-coated steel, terne-coated stainless and even titanium.
Generally the more exotic materials are defined by the architect or designer and need to be custom- formed by a fabricator for a single application.
Aluminum Roofing is light, rust-free, attractive and energy efficient.
Galvalume Steel Roofing is very corrosion resistent, strong and relatively inexpensive.
Galvanized Steel Roofing is very strong, is less expensive and comes in almost every look.
Cooper Roofing is just plain beautiful, it is extremely durable, easy to work with and can be soldered. It is among the most expensive options.
There are literally dozens of different “looks” and “feels” that can be achieved with metal roofing— from the traditional standing seam look, to the old-world tile look or the beauty of shakes, to the more agricultural corrugated look. The variety of attractive metal roofing profiles is one of the great advantages of the industry. No matter what the style or look of your home, there is almost certainly a metal roof system out there that will complement it perfectly!
